Connecting people, places and paths — one step at a time

Celebrating the Spirit of Anacortes and Fidalgo Island Through the Joy of Walking

Behind every Walk Fest journey is a team of local volunteers. They created Anacortes Walk Fest to celebrate the beauty, history and community spirit of Fidalgo Island through the simple joy of walking. Locals and visitors alike come together to explore scenic trails, charming neighborhoods, the walkable downtown and waterfront that make Anacortes a special place to live and visit.

Our goal is to inspire people of all ages and abilities to get outdoors, connect with others and discover the hidden gems right here in our own backyard. From easier rambles to more challenging hikes, there is something for everyone at Walk Fest.

Beyond the trails, Walk Fest supports healthy recreation for all interests and fitness levels to ensure our beautiful spaces remain accessible for generations to come.

Join us as we step into adventure, community and connection, one walk at a time. See Anacortes in a fresh light. May 1-4, 2026.
