Meredith McIlmoyle, Executive Director of Anacortes Art Festival and driving force behind the event for 12 years. The festival, major art fair and downtown celebration each August, also supports vital art grants for our community, schools.

Bob Hogan, an acrylic artist and board member of the Anacortes Arts Commission, lives in Anacortes. He illustrated the best-selling children’s book, The Tortoise from Anacortes, with his wife Claudia, who authored it.

Meeting Point: Anacortes Maritime Heritage Center, 703 “R” Avenue, just to south of Deport Arts and Community Center. On street parking. Meet in front of the Maritime Center.
