Date and Time: Saturday, May 2, 9:00 a.m. sharp to catch 9:15 ferry

Start your Guemes island foray with a short ferry ride, then a relaxed, scenic stroll along a quiet shoreline road to the Guemes Mountain trailhead. From there, tackle a steady 1.5-mile climb to the summit, where bird’s-eye views await: sweeping vistas south, east to Mt. Baker and north to waterways and islands. Clear day highlights majestic Olympics and Cascade peaks and valleys. Return on the same route to your short ferry ride. Leave time for a beverage at the store.  Meet your leader-

Meeting Point: Guemes Island Ferry Landing (Anacortes) 500 I Ave. Walk on the ferry. No need for a car; you save $$ by walking on. Park in lot east of the Ferry dock at 6th and K street Anacortes. Purchase walk on pass at ticket window in the ferry office. Leader will meet group at Guemes Island landing.
