All the best of Deception Pass–From beaches to tidepools, rocky ridges to scenic summit, this outing offers you superb elements of Deception Pass Park. Finish with short, moderately steep segments to Goose Rock peak for a stellar views in all directions. Meet your walk leaders-

Jim & Stephanie Renfro retired to Anacortes 7 years ago, drawn by the variety of fantastic walking trails.  During COVID, they hiked every trail and scenic road on Fidalgo Island.

Rating: Moderate, 750 gain with some steep sections to summit
Meeting Point: Deception Pass State Park, West Beach Parking lot. Follow Highway 20 South from Anacortes. At Sharpe Corner take Hwy 20 south toward Oak Harbor, south across the Deception Pass Bridge. Turn right (west) into Deception Pass State Park Entry. Follow signs to West Beach Parking, generally turning right as you meet the water. Meet at far N. end of the West lot. Discover Pass parking permit required.
