Explore a deep woods realm of ancient cedars, firs and maples with an emerald fern understory. Your walk mixes history with splendid scenery, including rock walls, meadows and lake views. Along the middle section of the ridge walk, you’ll pass remnants of an old miner’s shack, abandoned mine shaft, red rock quarry. Short, steep sections with ruts and rocks; bring your walking sticks.
